Gov't Doing Its Best To Speed Up Arms Deliveries From US: Defense Minister

Taiwan's defense minister, Wellington Koo, says the government is doing its best to speed up arms deliveries from the US, especially fighter jets, glide bombs and heavy torpedoes. Koo said the US has set up a special project office for some weapons orders while the manufacturer of the F-16V fighter jets Taiwan has ordered is running assembly lines 20 hours a day to overcome the backlog.
