n September 13, 1972, a tragic ferry accident in Bagan Datoh, Perak, shook all of Malaysia. Heavy rain caused the ferry crossing the Kerian River to malfunction and sink, taking more than 20 lives and casting a dark shadow over the quiet town. Although ruled an accident, the local bus driver, Ah Han, was blamed and shunned by townsfolk.br Twelve years later, still tormented by guilt and grief, Ah Han fled home in madness — only to be found dead, floating in the river.
