Malaysia will send its largest-ever contingent to the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, with 1,688 participants, including 1,166 athletes, Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim announced at the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Nov 13).br br For the 2025 Asean Para Games (Jan 20–26, 2026), Malaysia will also field its biggest team — 238 athletes and 120 officials.br br Adam Adli said 12 athletes from the Road to Gold (RTG) programme will compete in badminton, weightlifting and archery for exposure ahead of major international tournaments.
