Ross — Ross 1974 (UK, Heavy Progressive Rock)br br The band "Ross" was founded by two experienced musicians: guitarist Alan Ross and keyboardist Bob Jackson. Alan played on two of John Entwistle's solo albums in the early 1970s and was a member of his touring band. Then, together with bassist Warwick Rose, he formed the band "Ro Ro" and released the album "Meet At The Water." Bob Jackson formed his first band, "Indian Summer," in 1969. After releasing the album in 1971, the band broke up, and Jackson joined "Rigor Mortis" in 1972 and participated in their debut tour. In late 1973, Jackson and Ross decided to play together and formed their own band. Their rise began after signing with RSO Records. "Ross" released two excellent albums: "Ross" and "The Pit & The Pendulum." Their music also appealed to Eric Clapton, who, while signed to RSO, toured with Ross in the US in 1974. The group disbanded in 1975. Alan joined Stars, later formed the Alan Ross Band, and appeared on Melvin Gayle and Frank Wilson's albums Gift Wrapped Set (1980) and Alexis Korner's Juvenile Delinquent (1984). Jackson played in Badfinger, The Fortunes, The Searchers, and The David Byron Band.br br Tracks:br br 01. Alright By Me - 0:00br br 02. You're Looking Down A Road - 6:19br br 03.
