S. Korea Trade Minister Suggests Working With Taiwan To Lower US Chip Tariffs

South Korea's trade minister says his country could work with Taiwan to reduce US President Donald Trump's proposed chip tariffs. Earlier this month, Seoul and Washington reached a trade deal, with US officials saying they would offer Seoul a chip tariff rate "no less favorable" than a possible deal offered to another country with an equal or larger chip sector. Taiwan is the world's largest chip producer, followed by South Korea.
