Texas just made history — becoming the first U.S. state to buy Bitcoin. According to posts from the Texas Blockchain Council, the state executed a $5 million purchase of BlackRock’s IBIT ETF last week, marking the first allocation to the newly created Texas Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
