Rivian is recalling 34,824 U.S. vehicles after NHTSA warned that a damaged pretensioner cable could fail to restrain drivers. The company has pushed an over-the-air update to affected EDV models and will replace assemblies where needed. Rivian shares remain up 30 this year ahead of the R2 launch in 2026.
