Ayo Edebiri is stepping into the world of Barney. The Emmy-winning actress is in talks to write and star in a film about the beloved purple dinosaur for A24. The project has been in development since 2019 when it was announced that Mattel Films and Daniel Kaluuya's 59 Productions would be partnering with A24 on the project about the children's TV character.
