White Harvest — White Harvest 1976 (USA, Psychedelic, Christian Rock)

White Harvest — White Harvest 1976 (USA, Psychedelic, Christian Rock)br br The only album by the enigmatic band from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, pressed exclusively on vinyl in a limited edition of 500 copies. The beautiful cover, featuring a 16th-century black-and-white wood engraving and the lack of photos of the musicians, suggests that some kind of gospel hymns are hidden beneath. However, the album's music is even more reminiscent of hard rock than gospel, and while it features female vocals, it also features organ and synthesizer backing, psychedelic motifs, and hints of West Coast rock. It's all electric, with no acoustics whatsoever, much less folk. This is all confirmed by the wonderful ballad-anthem "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder." Besides that, all the rest of the material is original.br br Tracks:br br 01. It's Gonna Fall Down - 0:00br br 02. Help Me Lord - 3:03br br 03. He Stays The Same - 5:56br br 04.
