Easy Chair — Easy Chair 1968 (USA, Psychedelic Rock)

Easy Chair — Easy Chair 1968 (USA, Psychedelic Rock)br br In April 1968, a band from Seattle, Washington, recorded an untitled EP at Ripcord Studio, containing only three songs on one side. This demo EP was released by the Vanco label in a limited edition of 100 copies. The band featured bassist Jeffrey Simmons, a future member of Mothers of Invention. The band played only their own original material. One of their opening performances for Mothers of Invention was recorded in its entirety, but the tapes were lost. In late 1968, the band caught the attention of Frank Zappa and his managers, who helped them sign a contract with Bizarre Records. Alice Cooper himself took over as promoter. However, Easy Chair soon disbanded for some reason. Only drummer Albert Malosky and multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Simmons, who contributed to the soundtrack for the film "Naked Angels," continued their collaboration. Jeffrey also released a solo album, "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up," before joining Zappa.br br Tracks:br br 01. Slender Woman — 0:00br br 02. My Own Life — 8:57br br 03.
