WATCH: UK PM Keir Starmer Speaks on Anti-Semitism, Hanukkah Security in Parliament | APT

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer strongly condemned anti-Semitic attacks during Prime Minister’s Questions, describing recent incidents as sickening and deeply concerning for Jewish communities in the UK and around the world.br br Referring to the anti-Semitic terror attack at Bondi Beach and a separate attack at Heaton Park earlier this year, Starmer warned that such incidents are not isolated and appear to be deliberately timed around significant Jewish holidays. He said he has been in contact with the Community Security Trust, the Home Office and the Chief Rabbi to discuss security arrangements for Hanukkah events across the UK.br br The Prime Minister said his government would use all available powers to ensure Jewish communities are safe and secure. Starmer also noted that a Hanukkah reception was held at Downing Street, where he reaffirmed the government’s commitment to combating anti-Semitism. He closed his remarks by wishing MPs and parliamentary staff a happy Christmas.
