pA bus accident in Javanakondan resulted in the death of the lorry driver and injuries to 21 people, with 12 treated at Hiriuru government hospital and 9 at Shira government hospital. The bus was packed in a container and was damaged during the accident, which occurred after leaving Java at 2 am. Most survivors are reportedly out of danger.
