Hamas has appointed a new spokesperson for its military wing, inheriting the nom de guerre Abu Obeida, after his predecessor was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. In a video briefing, Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed losses, revealed Abu Obeida’s real identity, released his unmasked photo, and acknowledged the deaths of Mohammed Sinwar and Rafah chief Muhammad Shabana this year there.
