– There’s a certain look students give that tells me they’re stuck. Sometimes it’s not what’s being taught that is tough. It’s that they don’t know if it’s worth the effort. So they give me the look and say, “How many points is this worth?” Good questions. Just like asking, “How much will I get paid if I do this?” They want to know if the reward is worth it. Yes, in an ideal world learning is it’s own reward –BUT- in a classroom points are like money. Follow the money.
