Concluding the theme of controversies during the Second Vatican Council as chronicled in the book , The Rhine Flows into the Tiber by Rev. Ralph Wiltgen, Dr. Miravalle discusses how a certain Bishop Karol Wojtyla (the future Pope John Paul II) argued against Fr. Karl Rahner, S.J. who wanted to minimalize Mary by hiding the council's Marian teaching  in Lumen Gentium, a document about the Church.
