Shen Yun Performing Arts staged the first of seven shows at the San Diego Civic Theatre on Saturday night.br br [Mr. Miller, CEO]:br "It was very good. It showed a lot of the different ethnic characters of China of Chinese heritage. And it was very entertaining."br br [Dr. Boone, Physician]:br "It was wonderful. It was really educational and we learned a lot about Chinese culture and I loved it."br br The mayor of neighboring city Chula Vista, Cheryl Cox, and her husband Steve were also impressed by Shen Yun.br br [Mrs. Cox, Chula Vista Mayor]:br "Being able to see the diversity of culture and of dance and of music and being able to tell a story. I think it was just charming."br br [Mr. Cox, Audience Member]:br "It was a lesson in history. Very very helpful to see some of the things that have happened in the past in China.
