A lot of racing teams train at glaciers before the snow falls at lower altitudes. In December I met a couple of young women at Hintertux in the Austrian Alps, from a Dutch snowboard racing team. They rode nice Kessler boards with race plates, if I remember. Here's the best footage! (it's a coed team, but most of the shots are from the two girls I met early in the day). The shutter speed was a bit slow, that's why there are some seconds where it goes fuzzy (even after stabilization with VirtualDub and Deshaker).
