Several important things have happened this week at Los Angeles City Hall regarding medical cannabis. First, Councilman Jose Huizar wrote an OpEd (Opinion Editorial) in the LA Times. I wrote a blog about it here: Is Jose Huizar being recalled because of this fiasco: The LA Mayor signed the first part of the ordinance (the land-use part), however, a second part (the fee-structure ordinance) still has to be passed by the council and signed by the mayor. No public hearings have not be scheduled for the 2nd ordinance.
