pbr A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after a one-year-old girl was attacked and killed by a dog.br ppbr Police were called to a house in Cotton Walk, Broadfield, Crawley, West Sussex, at just after receiving reports that the child had suffered head injuries and was unconscious.br ppbr The girl was rushed to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, Surrey, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards, according to a Sussex police spokesman.br ppbr Detective Chief Inspector Trevor Bowles said: "It is very early in the investigation but we are trying to establish how this tragedy occurred.br ppbr "The dog is being securely held by Sussex Police.
