Residents of several villages in India's western Gujarat are facing a major water shortage.
It’s become so severe that they can’t even wash their clothes, let alone take baths or have water to drink.
According to the villagers, a water pipeline has not been working for the past month and people have to get water from outside the village.

"Water from the tankers sometimes comes and sometimes doesn't. The village has 5,000 people and only one tanker comes here."
Residents say they’ve alerted their local officials about the crisis, but haven’t gotten help from them.
