Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has defended the Gaza blockade and a raid on an aid flotilla bound for the Palestinian enclave that killed nine people and sparked a world outcry. 'We have a right to inspect cargoes heading into Gaza,' Netanyahu said Wednesday, adding that the people aboard the flotilla 'were violent supporters of terrorism'.
