pbr Young Brit actor Andrew Garfield has landed the role of Spiderman in a new movie showing Peter Parker's early years.br ppbr He beat off competition from Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell and Kick Ass actor Aaron Johnson to land the role.br ppbr The announcement comes after plans for a Spiderman 4 movie were cancelled following scheduling issues.br ppbr The new movie will be in 3D and is to be directed by (500) Days of Summer director Marc Webb.br ppbr Filming begins in December with a release date to be confirmed for some time in 2012.
