I was inspired by the fantasysci-fi fiction of Edgar Rice Burroughs' "John Carter of Mars" series, as well as the recent news that Pixar and Disney were creating a film from the same source. My artistic inspiration for this owes a lot to Frazetta's illustrations from back in the day. The music is Gustav Holst's "Mars, the Bringer of War". It seemed appropriate accompaniment.
