My porch session rolls on with this tune that was written back in 1992 after returning from doing a demo with my friend Chris Cunnyhgham in San Francisco. I had just purchased the new Chris Isaak album at the time called San Francisco Days and there is a tune on it called Except The New Girl. It had that 1 to minor 3 chord progression that I really liked so I used it for this tune. I was young at the time and bouncing all around looking for a place to settle.
