pbr An animal rights group in Bosnia has called on authorities to investigate claims that a disturbing video of a woman apparently throwing six newborn puppies into a river was filmed in the Balkan country.br ppbr The video, which first appeared on YouTube, shows the hooded girl taking the puppies from a white bucket and throwing them, one by one, into a river.br ppbr The footage sparked outrage on the internet, with several Facebook groups calling for someone to come forward to identify the woman in the video.br ppbr Velimir Ivanisevic from the Association of Citizens for Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals SOS, said his group had received an e-mail that allegedly identified her as a teenager from the central Bosnian town of Bugojno.br ppbr "We cannot say with 100 percent certainty that this is true ... but we received some other information which leads us to believe that it is," Ivanisevic said.br ppbr Police in Bugojno said they were investigating, but refused to discuss details.
