The response to United Planet's volunteer abroad programs has been phenomenal. CNN has featured United Planet on both national television and on CNN's international website. The CNN story has provided a prime opportunity for United Planet to publicize our programs to the nation. In addition to interviewing various individuals affiliated with United Planet, a CNN film crew followed our volunteer CAP presenters into local Boston public school classrooms. United Planet volunteers included a Japanese Koto player, who presented to a 5th grade class in East Boston at the Donald McKay ElementaryMiddle School and a Palestinian woman, who spoke to a 1112th grade class at Boston Latin, America's oldest public school.
