br br On lap 67 of the ARCA race at Talladega, Chris Gehrke spins in the tri-oval and flips several times and slides to a stop just passed the startfinish line. br br A few seconds later, the car of Carl Miskotten hits Gehrke in the driver's door at nearly full speed. Gehrke would die three days later from his head injuries.
