Ten months ago, the Israeli government declared a partial freeze on settlement-building on the West Bank. The moratorium was set to end on Sunday -- but under international pressure, Israel has said it's ready for a "compromise". The subject of colonisation has fast become one of the most divisive issues in Israeli society today.
