There is no need to panic, there are no passengers in the train, but we are still checking the entire train."br br Passengers were stuck in the derailed train for around 10 minutes before railway and security officials rescued them.br br The Kolkata metro has been facing frequent hitches in recent times.br br The federal railway minister recently introduced AC trains as part of the metro services in the city.br br However, passengers complain that increase in the number of trains without adequate infrastructure was leading to several accidents and delays along the metro route on a regular basis.
