UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup: Solo wins for Albert and Compton in Koksijdebr br br Date:br br br 29.11.2010br br Description: br br br Niels Albert and Katherine Compton rode to solo victories in the Belgian dunes of Koksijde during the third round of the UCI Patrick Cyclo-cross World Cup.br br br The new course was designed with a view to the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in 2012. Albert (BKCP-Powerplus) won the race in the Elite Men's category ahead of World Champion Zdenek Stybar (Telenet-Fidea). However, Stybar remains in the lead of the World Cup standings. Meanwhile Compton (USA) won the Women's competition by a huge margin over the two Dutch competitors Daphny van den Brand and Sanne van Paassen. Van den Brand is the new leader of the World Cup series.
