pbr Police have arrested four men following an attempted robbery of a jewellery shop in Northampton which was disturbed by the actions of a brave pensioner.br ppbr The incident was caught on film by a member of the public.br ppbr The film shows an elderly lady running at the helmeted group and attacking them with her handbag.br ppbr Police arrested one man who was held by the public at the scene and subesequently made three other arrests.br ppbr Detectives say a total of six suspects arrived at the shop on three motorbikes and attempted to smash the windows with sledgehammers.br ppbr After being disturbed they fled the area empty handed.
