pbr Australia captain Ricky Ponting will face an International Cricket Council charge after allegedly damaging a television screen in the team dressing room on Sunday.br ppbr Officials at the World Cup venue in Gujarat accused Ponting of causing the damage after being run out during the 91-run victory over Zimbabwe.br ppbr The Tasmanian was caught short of his crease at the non-striker's end by a direct throw from Chris Mpofu from the boundary as he attempted a second run.br ppbr On his way back to the pavilion, Ponting was seen talking angrily to himself. He apparently let his anger get the better of him after watching the replay of his dismissal on the television.br ppbr An ICC spokesperson said: "We have received a report from the BCCI [Board Of Control For Cricket In India] through the GCA [Gujarat Cricket Association] about the incident and we have taken the decision to charge him."br ppbr The Australia team is currently on its way to Nagpur to play New Zealand on Friday in their second Group A clash.
