VIDEO:  In Peru, gay rights activists campaigning for same-sex marriages have gained an unlikely boost from politics. In the face of public opposition, candidates for the presidential election are calling for the conservative, mostly Catholic country to join Ecuador, Uruguay and Argentina in extending rights to gay and lesbian couples.
