Judges at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague jailed ex-Croatian general Ante Gotovina for 24 years on Friday, while sentencing co-accused Mladen Markac to 18 years for war crimes and crimes against humanity and acquitting third defendant Ivan Cermak.
