Clashes erupted between international and Palestinian peace activists and Israeli soldiers at the Qalandiya checkpoint in the West Bank during a protest marking the seventh anniversary of the International Court of Justice, or World Court, in The Hague, ruled that construction of the barrier on occupied land was illegal.
