Anna Hazare, an Indian activist, entered the fifth day of a hunger strike, saying he was feeling physically weak but resolved in his demand that the government adopt his version of a bill setting up an anti-corruption watchdog. Hazare threatened to fast to death unless parliament passes his legislation by 30 August.
