Palestinian youngsters threw rocks at Israeli soldiers at a checkpoint on the edge of Ramallah on Wednesday. The soldiers responded with tear gas and a so-called "screamer" - a device that emits an ear-splitting high-pitched sound -- to disperse stone-throwers.
