Gisele Bundchen, too hot for TV?

Would you call this ad sexist - or funny?br Well Brazil's Minister of Women's Policies, Iriny Lopes, is calling for the ads starring Gisele Bundchen to be banned - alleging they promote a flawed stereotype of women.br In the TV spots for the Brazilian underwear brand Hope, the supermodel is wearing lingerie to distract her husband while delivering bad news.br In an official statement, the ministry says the company is ignoring "progresses made in ending sexist practices" and says the ads represent "discrimination against women."br Responding to the government criticism, the label says the ads clearly aim to show - in a humorous way - that their lingerie enhances the natural sensuality of Brazilian women.br And Brazilian women seem to have understood the joke.br SOUNDBITE: Paula Miranda, analyst, saying (English):br "(The ad is) super smart. That's how things works. We (women) have to use all we got."br SOUNDBITE: Miriam Marcelo, accountant, saying (English):br "I didn't feel offended because in a couple's relationship, that's how things work."br So far there has been no response from Bundchen.br Alicia Powell, Reuters.
