The body of Wangari Maathai who died on September 25 and who won the Nobel Peace Prize for her campaigns to save Kenyan forests, left a mortuary on Saturday (October 8) for the site where the environmentalist and Nobel peace prize winner was beaten by police in 1989 for protesting against the construction of a building.
