Mother and child reunion, pulled from rubble

Rescued alive.br A two week old baby girl is rescued from the rubble in quake struck Turkey.br The rescue came some 46 hours after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit southeast Turkey that has already killed at least 432 people.br The baby's mother was clutching the infant to her chest when rescuers reached them.br Later in the day rescue workers were able to rescue the mother and grandmother from the collapsed apartment block.br There is no word on the father, who had also been in the building when it fell.br The family was taken to a hospital for treatment.br Officials say the baby is in good conditionbr DIRECTORATE NAYS OZUCELIK SAYING:br SOUNDBITE: Directorate Nays Ozucelik, saying (Turkish):br "The baby is in a very good condition at the moment. She is in a much better condition than we were expecting. She will remain in an incubator for a while, of course. We will continue to observe her inside the incubator as she has gone through a great trauma."br More than 1,300 people have been injured in the quake with that number expected to rise as rescue efforts continue.br Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters.
