The Nintendo Wii was released in November 2006, and along with it came a new look in controllers. Because the console featured many interactive games that relied more on body movements than the traditional way of gaming with your hands and fingers only, the remotes possessed a slim body that could fit in one hand. The new and improved Wii Remote Plus still has the same look, but there are a few upgraded features.
