The Nintendo Wii is the latest home gaming console from the company, and was released in late 2006. There are many video games available for the system, and it is backwards compatible for Nintendo GameCube games as well. The Wii features motion-activated games and controllers, making it among the first video gaming systems that get the players up and out of their seats.
