Fonda says women should honor successes

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)br STORY: Jane Fonda spoke out once again in support of women's rights.br The legendary actress and activist was at the Beverley Hills hotel in California on Wednesday (December 7) to receive the 2011 Sherry Lansing Award at the 20th Annual "Women In Entertainment" breakfast.br "I remember 50 years ago when there weren't any women in positions of power in Hollywood. And it's important now that that's slowly beginning to happen. That we celebrate our successes, our achievements. That we mark those victories and we encourage the young ones coming up to not give up," Fonda said.br Fonda said that supporting women who work in film and television - both in front of and behind the camera - is a worthy endeavor.br Joining her on the red carpet were comedienne Kathy Griffin, actress Jennifer Love-Hewitt and television talk show host Nancy Grace.
