ARA Convention Offers Insights into Big Picture of Sustainability br br On the second day of the Agricultural Retailers Association’s 2011 Conference and Expo: Growing a Sustainable Business, What your customers, consumers and the government want from ag retailers, attendees heard from speakers who provided real-world and big picture perspectives about sustainability and how it applies to an ag retailers’ business. br br Kicking off the speakers was Ian Hope-Johnstone, director, agriculture sustainability, PepsiCo. He shared the perspective from inside the food industry. He explained PepsiCo’s sustainability lens and how the company is applying it toward farmers and contracted growers.
