Islam and Christianity share an intricate history that goes back fourteen centuries. Present attitudes between Muslims and Christians are shaped by the remembrance of conflict and cooperation. In order to understand the historical dimensions of mutual perceptions in modern times, the roots of Muslim-Christian relations need to be recovered and accurately mapped. Radwan Kouatli, also known as Abunour, was born in Damascus, Syria where he acquired his early religious education. Radwan came to the United States 1987,and graduated with honors in 1991 from University of Central Florida with a B.S.B.A. with a major focus in marketing. He is married and have four children.
