A stolen car goes airborne and lands on the roof of a California apartment building.br Police say the driver was speeding when he hit a raised area and took off.br SOUNDBITE) (English) LT. ANTHONY MARTINEZ, FRESNO POLICE SAYING:br "It appears that they climbed the berm, the car begins to go airborne, strikes a boulder and a tree stump that further lifts the car airborne and launched it upon the roof about 10 feet behind it."br This neighborhood resident thought the whole thing was a prank.br (SOUNDBITE) (ENGLISH) JEANELL RICKS, WITNESS SAYING:br "At first I though it was a prank like you've been punked or something, I thought somebody lowered the car on the house cause that's not something you see everyday."br No injuries were reported.br Police arrested a 26-year old man a short distance from the accident scene.
