An Israeli student in his twenties was killed and several others wounded when a Kassam rocket hit the Sapir College near Sderot on Wednesday afternoon. Within hours, barrages of over twnety Kassam rockets slammed into western Negev communities. A rocket directly hit a home in Sderot, while another exploded in a factory mess hall shortly after the workers had exited. Hamas claimed responsibility.
