The national center of transplantation, has said people who have donated organs will receive compensation of up to 30,000 Shekels, including therapy following the exchange, in addition, donors will be compensated for days missing work for up to 40 days. The expectation is for the number of donors to increase by 30. Until now, donors having a kidney,liver or any other organ removed were not compensated for sick pay nor were they given any psychological treatment following the operation.
