Palestinians killed by IDF gunfire

Two Palestinians were killed and five Israeli soldiers wounding during a military raid in the Kalandia refugee camp to arrest terror suspects the army said. The army said soldiers entered the camp located south of Ramallah to arrest two terror suspects when they encountered violence. The soldiers engaged in gun battles and two Palestinians were killed. Riots broke out and five soldiers were injured one requiring hospital treatment the army said. The Ma'an news agency said soldiers fired indiscriminately and killed two Palestinian military intelligence officers. Mutasim Udawn, was shot in the head and died instantly and Ali Khalifa was shot in the stomach and died in hospital in Ramallah, the agency said. The troops arrested Wajih Ayman Al-Khatib and Anas Manasrah and left the camp, the agency said.
