A young and rising Israeli film star Ilan Grief has landed the lead role in the movie Summer Vacation. Grief is not yet nine years old. Playing alongside Assi Dayan, the film was screened at the prestigious Tribecca Festival in New York, and Ilan was awarded first prize for his acting role.Despite having no previous acting exzperience ,he was chosen out of 250 children who participated in the audtions. Having appeared at premier screenings and star studded evenings does not appear to have affected him - underneath all the glitz, is a little boy, who enjoys going to summer camp during the holidays.
